The Business Development Executive will perform a variety of business development functions in support of ECCS’ business plan. This position is responsible for helping ECCS achieve its membership growth goals through hands-on business development activities including planing and attending business events and conducting business-to- business (B2B) sales. The position requires a high level of energy, integrity and enthusiasm to provide membership information, promote products and services, and acquire new members. This position includes a combination of in-office, out-of-office, and online work assignments.
Job Responsibilities
Responsible for business development functions including, but not limited to identifying, developing and maintaining relationships with business partners; prospecting, networking, and data mining across various industry verticals.
Contact, schedule and meet with prospective business partners to present information on ECCS services.
Schedule, organize and attend on-site and online meetings.
Present financial, education, and pitch value proposition presentations to promote
ECCS services.
Manage business partner database and relationships.
Attend various meetings in the business, government, and development
communities and trade associations to develop new business prospects and
promote ECCS.
Coordinate and attend internal and external special events.
Manage CRM tool to track daily business development activities.
Assist in the development of business development marketing collateral and communications.

Job Description
Reports to the Executive Director.
Protects organization's value by keeping information confidential.
Prepares sales collateral, corporate literature, presentations and proposals.
Presents ECCS to potential clients and establishes position as the leader in the
private sector development space.
Builds and maintains a pipeline of potential membership deals
Converts potential membership deals into revenue- generating contracts.
Actively and successfully manages the sales process: lead generation,
credentials pitch, asking questions, value pitch, and negotiations.
Manages complex sales situations and manage existing clients.
Generates new revenue streams by up-selling and cross selling solutions and
services.
10.Generates regular reports on performance against set targets. 11.Researches industries of interest and related events, publications, and
announcements to gain solid understanding of the Sudanese and European
markets and needs.
12.Screens potential business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal
requirements, and financials.
13.Develops negotiating strategies and positions by aligning business requirements
with ECCS strategy.
14.Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities, reading
professional publications, maintaining personal networks, participating in
professional organizations.
15.Develops effective working relationships with existing and potential clients and
identify and obtain further sales and business development opportunities. 16.Any other tasks assigned by the Executive Director.

Qualifications:
1-BSc in Business Administration, Economics or related field
2- Two to Five Years of experience in in a proffesional organization focused business development or clients services and management.
3-Experience of networks of relations accross businesses of various sizes
4-Existing networks in Corporate and Government Organizations and agencies is highly desired.
5-Experience with presenting to senior leadership and working within a high- energy team.
6-Proven track record of closing business deals.
7-Excellent written and oral communication skills in both Arabic and English are must. Proficient knowledge of a third European language is desired but not required.
